I LIVE!

Long story short, I read a (wonderfully written) shounen-ai story, got a LJ link, and well, here I am!

I feel like deleting the old posts and start all over again, but yah... it's part of writing a journal, isn't it!?
I won't post a lot here, or at least I don't intent to, since I mostly tend to post the negative news here! (I rather just skip it! 8D)

Either way let's start with good news;

I passed for my Drivers Licence Exam! ^_^

Finally: Abunai, Legendary 2008

So Finally I'll do a report on my Abunai!

I only had a Saturday ticket, so there's no Friday to post about! *sigh*

Saturday: I had my alarm set for 7:00 because I had to do a wake-up call for Azzy, I woke up at 6:55 only to shut down the alarm, and fall asleep til 7:17. Called Azzy anyway, but he was up already! (HUZZAH!) I then grabbed my gear, decided it was still a little early and ate my breakfast. Around 8:15 I went to the bathroom, and did what I love most about my cosplay; do the make-up! SCARS! Icky DERMA-WAX! HURRAY... Naturally for those who don't know I went as Joker (in his cute little nurse outfit) It was also a very good test on how my Binder-shirt worked. My make-up:

Eitherway we then went to Abunai (on the road we traveled past a car wih a hysterical girl, all going WOOOOOOAH! WHIIIIIIII!) when we arrived, we parked at a desolate postoffice, which kinda looked like a hospital... We kinda HAD to take pictures there:

Either we went in, and everybody (throughout the whole day, might I add!) kept whispering on how scary (real ) I looked. That really lifted my ego to a higher level! XD I mean, all this awkward talking about Joker cosplay, well EXCUUUUUSE me (princess) I just LOVE to cosplay him, can't help it! XD We met Carcar and Chris, both did not recognize me untill I spoke, and even then it sounded like: "Lies, is that you?"
Yep binder-shirt and facial make-up, CHECK! XD

We did this little game of recognizing all day, and only ONE person recognized me,... Lizz! (but she admitted someone had told her, so it doesn't really count!XD) Even people I've known for years walk past me. Saya, my dear friend walked past me with two other cosplayers and they were discussing how awesome I looked. Big shock for her when I called out her real name! XD

Later I met an awesome Animation Series Joker and another TDK Joker:

Either way about Joker: I learned not to do a goofy smile at all, since he doesn't do it as well, but there's almost no stopping grinning when cosplaying a Joker, now is there? And I kinda forgot to put the small scar underneith his lip... DOH!

ANYWAY.... Around 3 I decided that I wanted to put on my other cosplay; Gracia (Samurai Warriors 2) Though I knew no one would recognize her. (Except Saya, Jarl and San-chan, but they played the game! XD)

I can't really post a picture of her, since I haven't found many (due the not-recognizing part) but I know Mr DUmmy has some of them up on his site! ^_^

Some more pro's of this con:
-The Location was... close to the station and food.
-The ACTS were SOOOOO good, I only got bored by two of them, and some brought me near tears(of joy)! (Guess which one! XD)
-The people were marvelous, and some people complimented my costumes even though they did not know who\what it was.
-THE AWESOME JOKER FANART I GOT FROM THIS AWESOME GIRL!
-Marco and Titi allowing me to sleep on their room so I could go back Sunday!
-Errr.... 'accidentally forgetting' to buy a ticket... not my fault though, there was noone at the door, and noone behind the desks, well I planned getting a ticket later, but later was around the closing ceremony, and well... NO? XD (besides, spending 15 euro's to BUY something in the Deallerroom...) (Yeah I kinda feel like I'm a criminal now, but I've been a goody goody con-goer since... forever, and if I CAN go next year, I'll definiately buy a weekend ticket! ^_ ^

Negative:
-The Location.... was a maze, and I only figured sunday there was a second floor! XD
-The prices for food and drinks! Outrageous!

Either way, sunday I went un-cosplayed (which was quite a shock for everybody!) But I was kinda ill, and did not feel like spending half an hour on my make-up again! (and my feet were sore from the day before for wearing Gracia's geta's!)

Oh and, Abunai was a blast, loved skipping around in my Joker, wished I had put on some make-up for Gracia (but after Joker, you tend to not feel like doing make-up) and got claustrophobic from time to time, because of the small hallways!

Also met an old classmate, she was living and working there! XD

I will update this post with more detailed information later! ^_^

First of all, be afraid, VERY afraid... I'm back in Holland, and ready to kick ass!

Tomorrow I have an appointment, and I'll see if I can get a job.

I'm kinda healthy (ofcourse.. Pfeiffer kick in now and then, but not as much as it used to be, so I'm happy)

I have people from France and England sending me mails how they like me and my cosplay, but... I don't see why! XD Anyway, they're very kind, and I love to see them next time on a convention! (I kinda was 'ordered' to come over a week ahead of London Expo by one of them!)

Speaking of cosplay... I canceled about... ALL my plans, and remade and scheduled them, because half of it was something I didn't like anyway! (No worries Marco)

Then of course when I moved I saw a lot of stuff I NEED to give next time I see people, for example;

Daisy's skirt (even though it's not finished yet), Tichon's Ritsu Hakama (and make a kimono, right?) and Marcel's Go board. (Unless he has one of his own by now.)

Other then that... Congratulations Lidy for gaining fresh meat (also known as sibling) Congratulations Bert for scaring the WOOSIES out of the Japanese in your Alien suit, Congratulations Roxanne, for getting the most kick-ass job in the world!... and... ehm... Japan Expo report!

Okay a detailed report with pictures:

Thursday:

I got picked up at 11:45 by Danny, and then we traveled to Breda, to pick up the others (Gonnie, Diana and Eefje) We all had 3 costumes with us, except Eefje, but she had Abel and a BIG dress wit her (although, Diana and Gonnie also had one) so it was pretty stuffed.... We traveled alllll the way to Paris, and dropped our stuff at the Hotel, then we TRIED to go to the city center but in stead.... we just went out for dinner. Which was great! Then we went to sleep.

Friday:

We woke up at 6:30 (GOD KNOWS WHY) mostly for the other three girls, because I was finished pretty quickly, and I've been sitting (half sleeping) in a corner of the room, while hoopskirts and wings and the stuff were tossed around. (HALP!) We had our breakfast and went to Parc d'Expostition..... except we went to the WRONG Parc d'Exposition! XD Luckily some dude in his car wanted to help us out and showed us the way to the right one! ^_^

JAPAN EXPO IS HUGE! And so many people, or so we thought, because Saturday the amount of people were three times the amount of people on Friday. We've been asked for a photo SO many times! I wore Sakura, Diana wore Sakura, Eefje had her own vision on Yuuko, but it was pretty cool, and Gonnie had her TC Chii... ^_^ Diana entered the single competition, and she won best craftman ship (though I still think she shouldn't because she entered with a version of Sakura which has no wings, and she added the wings. But I guess the judges didn't know!) Although her dress was cool of course, I've seen many other talented people, and especially the Samurai Warriors chick I met in London should've won it! But hey!
Either way, we settled for a pizzeria that day, and went to sleep pretty fast again!

Saturday:

We woke up at 7:00 (or atleast... I did) waited another half hour, and then put on my Fran, and we went to the convention. (Diana and Gonnie were Saya and Diva, and Eefje had her Yuuko again) I CAN'T tell you how much photo's there were taken... REALLY...TOOOO MANY... like, please stop-I-REALLY-need-to-go-to-the-toilet-now-many. Gonnie and I decided to walk together over the convention, (although... walking... I mean, step step, photo, step step...) and at 15:30 we decided to change, she in her small Diva dress, and me in normal clothes (because the heels were killing me, and we wanted to see the convention, which was not possible if you had to pose every 10 cm! XD) But before that two things happened:

- I had a picture taken in the Square Enix stand with ALL of the European Square Enix staff. (and some Japanese)
- I won the Hall Cosplay contest! *does a boogy*

Gonnie bought a broken Cloud resin statue (for 80 euros, instead of 199, and she got an moogle plushie for me!) which I fixed, and we searched Diana and Eefje (and Danny, but he tagged along with Diana wherever she went, so that was easy) and we got ourselves pizza, (again) and went to bed again pretty early.

Sunday:

Another epic ego blast day! XD
We went up pretty early, except I felt pretty sick, so I stayed in bed till 8:15, then within 30 minutes I had my Seth on, and I had packed my stuff the evening before, so I was ready, and I still had to wait on Diana and Eefje! XD We packed the car and left the hotel. When we arrived at Japan Expo, Diana confirmed our act at the cosplay booth, dropped our stuff in the cosplay vestaire, and practiced our act. By now I should mention, that it's more of a show-off of your costumes instead of an act! But ok. We did our stuff, (a moulin rouge song while we all pestered poor little Eef as Abel, we meaning me as Seth, Gonnie as Kaya, and Diana as Astaroshe) and we got major applause and all that, but we wouldn't be able to stay till the results, and I'm pretty sure all those other people did better! (mainly because at the end, my hat nearly fell off, because Eefje stood on my trail, all is well I guess, because I really had a great time doing it!

But then, when we stood on convention ground, doing our stuff, a japanese woman approached me.... ME... and she had ONE question, if she and her coworker could take a picture... for Cosmode! O_O MOI~! Well I asked her if my friends could be in it as well, (social as I am) but Diana was TOO busy posing for other photographers... I nearly felt like, whatever... because she's been dropping us whenever someone with a big camera asked her to take a shoot, but, hey... we were all in this together right?

So I dragged her out of it, and she was like HEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING! And I told her I thought she may like it more to be in Cosmode! And she grinned... still kinda pisses me off, but hey, we took SEVERAL pictures, and WOW, I still feel so GODDAMN AWESOME! XD

I mean... I'll be in Cosmode! MOI! The tall idiot cosplayer from Holland! Who'd ever thought that?!

Anyway, pretty quick after that we went home, and when I got home, I just dropped near dead on my bed! and tadaaaa~! Here I am!

Cosplay Overload!

Ladies and Gentleman, IT has finally happened... for the first time when someone asked me to do something cosplay related... I said no thanks... Would I had money I'd dragged her to the beach instead.... such YAY weather!

Anyway... this was quit logical... since we had been working on cosplay since Friday! (and I still have to finish mine!)

She's going to crossplay Luso(Final Fantasy Tactics GotR), and cosplay Penelo (Final Fantasy RW) and Refia (Final Fantas 3)

Yeah.. .she;s a FF fan! XD

Anyway... we\I made a great deal of the Luso crossplay, like all of his clothes, and all we need to do is, the belt for the book, and some sleeves plus armor... That's ok...

Refia is finished, because she'd done a big deal of it, and well, she only needed a ninja mask (like the one in front of your mouth) and didn't knew how to. so I did that...

Penelo, well pants basically, all the details still need to be put on it...

and we started on our random White Mage cape... I can tell you, I already hate red triangles! >.<

Anyway... boring boring cosplay updates, I know >.< But besides all that we played Samurai Warriors, and I showed her some DoC (she wanted that o_O, I was like, eh... that's boring!)

But yeah she kinda gave me, ahead of business\birthday, a PS2 controller, yay! ^_^

Anyway... about my plans; I'll be going to Japan Expo (Paris) with Gonnie, Eveline, and Diana, and a friend of Diana, and we'll be kicking French butt (AGAIN!!! XD XD XD) No we probably won't, or at least I won't but hey! It'll be fun!

Fran, Sakura (Tsubasa) and Seth will be brought with me! And we'l be doing an act with Trinity Blood... but it's kinda... lame, ah well... Gonnie wanted to dance, so we HAD to do a dance act... I was like, I can't, and Eveline said so as well, but they kinda made it easy for us, so it's ok, I guess... Wish me luck (aka I won't kill people with my tumbling big body) XD

Sorry to bore people again, but I haven't done much else...

Oh and I planned to KINDA celebrate my birthday, but it will be here (Antwerpen), and only a day (no sleepovers, alas!) So i was wondering if people were interested to come... because if not, I'll just think of something else (like a picnic, a beach trip, or something like that...)

So... now we've all settled and all...

I came to apoligize... not for EVERYTHING I said... but for the fact, in my hurry to post something, things might have been confusing for people...

What I meant:

-I don't see myself as part of the 'blokhutgroep' anymore... I've never liked groups, basically because you're forced to be friends with people you don't really .... link with... and the other way around (I DO realize I'm... something apart)
-In light of what I recently heard, I wanted to lower the energy and trust I put in some of the people. Untill they prove me wrong. (or right)
-I kinda TRIED to warn everybody, and hoped people would stop calling people things behind their back (and not only mine, because seriously WHAT you call me, I don't care, but the facts someone does, pisses me off)
-I tried to make it possible for people to talk with. Like Marcel, I hoped we would be able to for once and for all tell eachother, that even if we CAN be nice to eachother, and help eachother, we JUST don't link well... I hate the way it went now, but at least it's out.. ya?

How things were seen:

-I hated everybody, and I should be happy I was accepted in the first place:
Sorry I don't share that vision... for starters I didn;t hate anyone, I just said I kinda had the idea people didn't want ME as a friend and thus I didn't want to run after them like a mad dog... And I was happy to be accepted in the group, even though I always have a hate for... well groups... I got to learn a lot of people, which I still consider my friends, though individually, and not because of the group, that binds us.
-I hated everybody just because I THINK people are talking behind my back:
Well this was just the last straw... I made an error of NOT notifying this to the rest of you guys.
-I think I'm all that.
How wrong can one be... I think myself very low... AND PLEASE DO NOT COME WITH B'AWWWWW YOU'RE NOT... I am... every human being should be just that humble, realise that everything you have can be taken just as well, and that there's ALWAYS someone better then you. etc etc.
-I use people as skipping stone, hopping from one to another:
Nope, sorry, I know it may look like it, if you think like this old group\new group... Sadly... there's no NEW group, I have a bunch of new friends, which I see as individually friends. Some from Belgium, some from England, some from Holland, Some from Germany, SOME OLDER THEN 'OLD GROUP' So basically, if anything, I'm just removing a stone that's been stuck in my shoe sole for some time now!

And more... but... yeah *shrugs*

Things you SHOULD know; (especially for the ones who just RAN in THAT post) Lidy and I are like this for several times now, and she found me interesting enough to spend more energy in, she understood my shout out for her, and after a long chat with Tichon so did he. He also told me he'd still like to be friends, and I'm glad they both do.. ^_^

I thought.. why not explain things, and I hope people realise I don't HATE anyone... for reasons I explained earlier... I still wil greet you on conventions, meetings and the like as usual and I will not throw stuff... (seriously where does that idea come from, I've never thrown stuff in my life!) XD

I hope people will read everything through this time, and won't start yelling again... If something is unclear, PLEASE mail me, or call me, and I will explain! ^_^

I' m a bit lost, at the moment... Don't know how to coop with backstabbers and the like... I know... and you can laugh all you want... it's okay, eventually I'm just an idiot who got raised in a small village, raised to believe lying is bad, telling lies about someone else is worse, and behind someone's back even more... I don't understand it either... if someone has a problem with me, should he not... I don't know... come to me? *shrugs*

Ladies and Gentlemen....

I hereby declare Narnia, Prince Caspian, highly watchable...

And I clearly mean Prince Caspian, *wink* He's... well... hot! XD
(And the oldest sister is and idiot! XD)

Anyway, it's pretty good, pretty soundtrack, blood (yay!) Griffon's are still there, and not ONE big battle, but TWO!

And a lot of arrows!

Oh and Edmond isn't as daft as he used to be!

He'll be in cinema's this July in Europe I believe... but somehow I catched a I THINK spanish copy... with people walking in front of the movie, from time to time, so if you're as cheap as me, DO wait till July... it'll hit DVD in USA by then, I guess! XD

To each thier own, but I think this movie is worth a cinema ticket... and even if I've seen it, I think I'm gonna watch it in the cinema's!

16 and an half hour!

That;s how much time I have before we get the bus to London...

And I need to do in that time:
-Go to the post office to grab my wigs (one for Sasuke, I hope, I can't really tell untill I've tried it on! XD)
-Go to the craftsstore, buy some extra glue gun thingies... theirs are just awesome!

Halibel:
-Hem the hakama (yes, still) Thanks Marco! XD
-Add the loops for the sword (YEEHEEES, still) DONE!
-Make up test! Done! I can be tanned!

Fran:
-Whatever-I'll-name-it, to close the thigh... thingy for my left thigh... thingy... XD Thigh-armor? SCRAPPED, I make it a kind of corset! XD
-Complete Thigh Armor for the right leg DONE!
-Add the hip armor to my bodice DONE!
-FINISH THE FUKKIN BODICE! XD DONE!
-Make new sleeves... out of pleather... I really hate these!
-Use either pleather or tricot for my leg armor... (to keep it around my leg!) I feel like using normal fabric and belts.. but that would be ugly Sooo I used elastic!
-If I have time left, make the left foot protector thing... seriously... why does she have it... Does she shoot herself in the foot otherwise? *skip* I need sleep!
-Sleep?

Okay...

Everytime I've finished something I'll edit this post, and by 22:30 you'll know what I've got, or not! XD

BTW I really like how the bodice is coming along... my fake chainmail is teh awesome ( I think... )

(no subject)

Soooo...

I live!

I think!

This weekend London Expo, and I need to do SOOO much!

first of all, for those who don't know... I'm remaking Fran! XD Something that's been on my mind since.... LONG! XD Anyway, I was making her wig, and everything went smoothly, but I didn't had enough wefts... so I went to the store to get them, this is monday BTW, and he doesn't have them anymore (that saturday they had 3 left, when I bought mine) So I ask him when he gets it back, fearing he'll probably answer with... in a week or two or something like that. But he says... Tomorrow, because I'll get one from our other store (In Brussel, which sucks to go to, since I'll be as lost as a PMS-struck woman on an island full of LOST people) so I think YAY!

Then I go to the fabric store since dummy Lisu cut her own Halibel shirt up... to get the same fabric, which was gone as well..

So now I'm asking... WHO IS MAKING BOTH FRAN AND HALIBEL FOR THIS WEEKEND AS WELL, AND STOP COPYCAT-ING ME! XD

Okay so... next day, still no wefts, because there was a strike.. (trains didn't ride, and he needed the train to go to Brussel)

Today... still no wefts and the message, probably next week, because I don't have time to go to Brussel this week...

Okay... so why do you promise me you would, if you don't... I would've been able to search online, maybe go to Rotterdam or something like that and get one there (though I doubt it, it's a very rare color)

Either way... I kinda wrecked my wig, and remade it, with a blonde base for the tail, so the tail isn't what I had wanted, but it;s not too bad either... I might cut away a few blonde strands either way, but eventually... Fran isn't completely white to begin with.. she has some strange combo of grey, white and blonde... so yeah... It's ok (yes this means the wig is ready)

So... then I worked on Halibel as well, which is... DONE, well ALMOST done... I need to add the loops on her back for the sword, which is made craptasticly by me, out of cardboard and 'things-I-had-around' but hey I guess it works...

And I need to hem the hakama, at the bottom... I never do that.. they're all big and stuff, and no one noticed it with my Soi Fong, but, Halibel's hoovers a bit above the ground so, yeah hemming it is..

And of course.. .the big questions anyone knowing Halibel wants answered... yes I show LITTLE underboob, because it's ok... I guess... I mean wearing an average low cut top, would show more of the upperboob then you'd see now.. 'I' think it's decent... I'll show pictures AFTER this weekend! Oh and I have make-up for both Fran and Halibel!

And I plan to rewear Sasuke... it's just my comfy cosplay, easy to bring and easy to wear! ^_^

Yes... binding is comfortably compared to stuff I do for other cosplays! ^_^

Oh I'm SOOO excited about this weekend! ^_^
